i got an email yesterday morning about vivian maier, a fascinating street photographer from the 1950s-1990s. the story of her life recounted by people who knew her really caught my attention; she was more or less alone for her entire life.
maier's work, discovered after her death, includes over 100,000 negatives, thousands of prints, and undeveloped film.
